Registration
General Information
The first step to getting started with listingPR.com is entering in some information that clients will use to contact you. The yellow text boxes are “required” fields that you must fill in. Some fields will have a number in parenthesis after it indicating how many characters you can type in the field. Whenever you see a red question mark after a field, move your cursor over it and it will help you with that field!
Personal Info
Name as it should appear on materials: This is the name as you want it to appear on the flyers, the listing minisites, postcards, etc. You may want to use your team name (“The Smith Group”), add your designations (“John Smith, CRS”), or just put your name (“John L. Smith). For your security, this field CAN NOT be changed without contacting customer service HERE.
For legibility, we suggest putting your phone in one of two formats: (###) ###-#### or ###-###-####
Long email addresses and website names MAY not show up in their entirety on marketing pieces
Your Photo
It’s proven that more people respond to marketing that has the Realtor’s face on it than those without. You can upload these photo formats: .JPG, .BMP, .TIF, and .GIF. Photo files must be RGB (not CMYK). If you have any trouble uploading your photo, email us HERE and we’ll be happy to fix it for you!
To upload your photo, click the BROWSE button. This will bring up a window – find your photo by navigating through your folders, highlight the file and click OPEN. We suggest you click the “Crop Image” button to adjust the photo to your liking. You can adjust the cropping box position and size by dragging a corner or the whole box and clicking the CROP button.
Company Information
This information will appear on the marketing materials and the listing minisites!
Long Company names and office web addresses may not show up in their entirety on marketing pieces.
Address 2 is suite number or P.O. Box, etc. We suggest you enter the word Suite or Unit before the number (i.e. Suite 100)
Company Logo
Here you can upload your office logo in these formats: .JPG, .BMP, .TIF and .GIF. Photo files must be RGB (not CMYK). If you have any trouble uploading your photo, email us HERE and we’ll be happy to fix it for you!
MyListings Page
This is your homepage. All of your listings will appear here.
You can edit your listings several ways from this page. If you want to edit listing information (price, description, etc.) click the address itself and you will be taken to the Listing Wizard. If you want to change the type of Flyer or the theme of the Flyer, click Edit under the Brochure tab. *** If you change the theme of a brochure, or a postcard or a website it changes the theme for all marketing materials for THAT listing! ***
Showings & Feedback
Showings & Feedback is where you keep track of all the agents that view your listings and any feedback you may receive. From the MyListings page, you can click View under Showings to go to the Showings & Feedback page or just click Add to jump right to the Add Showings wizard.
Add Showing - Once on the Showings & Feedback page, just click Add Showing to start the wizard. If you have already added a Realtor on this property, it will show up in the drop down menu, otherwise you have to click the Add Realtor button. You can use the calendar icon to the right of showing date or enter the date manually using DD/MM/YYYY format. If you don’t have feedback yet, you can leave this blank and come back later.
Add Realtor – Enter the Realtor’s contact information here and click Save Realtor
Once you’ve added a showing, it will appear in the table. You can change it any time by double clicking anywhere in the two line information!
Listing Journal
Welcome to the Listing Journal! This is how you keep your sellers up-to-date on everything you're doing to market their home! Let's face it, most people don't know what Realtors have to do everyday to market homes and the Listing Journal is a great way to show your sellers that you're earning your commission! You can keep track of everything you do, including: appointments with the seller, incoming sign/property calls, phone calls to the seller and other agents, open houses and more! Your homesellers can access this journal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and even respond directly to you! Just click Add Journal Entry button to get started! When your homeseller responds to you, you'll receive an Alert above!
Add Journal Entry – Click the Add Journal Entry to start the wizard. From the drop down box, pick the event that took place, enter a comment and click Save Journal Entry.
If you are a member and your Seller sends YOU a journal entry, it will appear in the table with a RESPOND link in the action column. By clicking this link, you will begin a “thread” so the comment will be linked for easy viewing.
Journal entries can not be edited
ALERTS Menu
listingPR.com was designed to instantly alert you when potential home buyers are viewing your listing minisites and requesting more information, requesting a showing and even when they send listing information to their friends! What a great way to follow up!
There are two types of Alerts in the Alert table – Red Alerts and Black Alerts. Red Alerts are those that you have NOT read yet. Black alerts have already been viewed. To view an alert, just click it and a window will expand below the table showing you the alert.
To delete an alert, click it in the table, it will expand below, then click the Trashcan icon.
Creating a Listing
General Information
To enter a new listing, just click Add a New Listing from the My Listings page
Theme Page
On this page, you can choose from one of four themes currently available (Banner, Green Leaf, Spring, Red Flag). For each theme you are presented the four marketing pieces available (Detailed Flyer, Quick Flyer, Postcards and Listing Websites).
You can preview any of the themes or marketing pieces by double clicking the thumbnail
Choose a theme by clicking the circle above the theme name you want. All marketing pieces for that particular listing will have the same theme. You can change this theme anytime in the future.
Listing Information
This information will appear on your marketing pieces and listing minisites.
The address of the listing will be the web address for your listing minisite so you may want to omit the Address suffix (i.e. Street, Road, Drive, Circle, etc.)
listingPR.com generates many reports for your business! Several of these reports have days on the market fields that require a listing and expiration date. You can use the calendar icon next to each to quickly choose dates. Dates must be in the format of MM/DD/YYYY
Property Details
This information also appears on your marketing materials. You can enter up to a 500 character description. You can watch the counter to see how many more characters you have.
Room Sizes
This information also appears on your marketing materials. You can enter as many or as few room sizes as you want. Floor is the location of the room.
School Information
Many homebuyers are concerned with schools of course. Here you can enter the different schools that service the listing. In different parts of the country, the various school levels are called differently, fill in only those that apply!
Seller Information
One of the amazing services that listingPR.com provides is the ability for you to community with your seller – showings, feedback & more! If you are a member, you can enter the seller’s email address here; an email will be sent asking them to register their contact information. When your seller has completed the verification, you will receive an alert on your MyListings page. This feature is not available during Free Trial.
Photos
If you are computer savvy, the Photos page will be very self explanatory for you. For others, once you get through it once, it should be easy! You can (and should!) upload six photos for each listing. Click Browse and a Windows Folder will appear; find the house photo and click Open. Do this for all six Browse buttons BEFORE you click an Upload button! Once you have chosen all six photos you can click ANY Upload button.
Depending on the size of your photos, uploading may take a few moments. You will know your photos have all uploaded when thumbnail images appear in all six boxes. These thumbnails are how your photos will appear in the marketing materials. You can change how any of them appear by clicking the Crop Image button below the photo.
Flyer Options
listingPR.com offers two different Flyers – Quick and Detailed. We suggest you enter all the information on this page regardless of the Flyer type you intend to use.
The photos you uploaded are on the left in the Photo Bucket. The Detailed Flyer has four photo slots so you need to click and drag photos from the Photo Bucket to one of the photo slots to the right. The first photo slot is the large photo on the flyer and we suggest you use the photo of the front of the house here. If you choose your mind about photos, you can click and drag a new photo over any other photo.
For Quick Flyers, there is only one photo and we again suggest using the photo of the front of the house. Type in five quick bullet points of the property.
Postcard Options
listingPR.com allows you to create many postcards – Just Listed, Just Sold, Listed & Sold and more! Just drag and drop a photo from the left over to the Not Available photo slot. As usual, we suggest the photo of the front of the house!
Enter a Headline for the front and back of the postcard and choose a Postcard Status from the drop down menu.
Website Options
If you have a virtual tour, enter the URL or web address here. It will be linked from the listing minisite.
Editing a Listing
General
From your MyListings Page, just click the Address to edit a listing. You will be taken to the listing wizard where you can either go step by step OR you can just click the Blue Icon at the top to edit a particular page.
Deleting a Listing
General
When the listing has sold, cancelled or expired, you can click the Trashcan Icon from your MyListings page and it will delete the listing, remove all marketing materials and the listing minisite.
Edit Profile
General
You can change any of your contact information, your photo or your company logo anytime by clicking Edit Profile from your MyListings page and typing over the information that is already there and clicking Save.
Reports
General
You can always keep up to date with what’s going on with your listings using listingPR.com’s reports menu! There are two types of reports – Global (all listings included) and Listing (listing specific).
Using Global Reports, just click the RUN button to the right of the report you would like to view. The report will appear in a new window. The Days on the Market and Seller Last Logged in Reports require you to choose the sort method. Choose one and click Run!
Using Listing Reports, choose your listing from the drop down box and click the Run button to the right of the report you want to view. The report will open in a new window.
